Evidence gathering, investigative interviewing and brief preparation

Local government officers in various disciplines will learn to enhance their evidence collection and legal skills at this one-day workshop.

VMBSG In-Person Training Workshop

A VMBSG workshop presented by RYT Business Solutions and hosted by Brimbank City Council, this program has been designed to assist local government authorised officers, working across a variety of DISCIPLINES, to build their capability and confidence in IDENTIFYING, COLLECTING, and producing compelling, LEGALLY ADMISSIBLE evidence for their prosecutions.

During this PRACTICAL one-day program, you will hear from experts in their field, including lawyers who prosecute offences on behalf of local councils.

Modules:

  • Collecting and producing admissible evidence
  • Brief of evidence preparation
  • Giving evidence in court

Primary program facilitator, Stuart Bateson, brings a wealth of experience to the RYT team. With 34 years of law enforcement expertise, including major crime investigation, front line policing and extensive experience in producing and giving evidence in court, the recently retired Victoria Police Commander is ideally placed to deliver this program.
