Special Counsel Ian Pridgeon has a practical and outcome driven approach to addressing client legal issues. He has over 25 years’ experience in relation to state and local government regulatory matters, with a strong focus on building control. Ian has also served as a legal member of the Building Appeals Board of Victoria, often needing to adjudicate on complex building disputes regarding regulatory matters. Amongst other things, he now regularly appears as an advocate on behalf of clients before the Building Appeals Board and provides high level legal advice regarding complex building control matters.

Ian has also worked in local government as a manager in relation to town planning and building control functions as well as in the state government with regard to environmental regulatory compliance
