Where?
- Yarrawonga Golf Club is on Golf Club Road, Mulwala which is just across the border from Yarrawonga into NSW.
- How long does it take to get there? From the Melbourne CBD it takes 4hours plus breaks.
Accommodation?
- For those that are staying overnight: Upon arrival delegates can obtain their keys and room numbers from the Golf Club Reception area, (please ensure you vacate the rooms by 10 a.m. the following morning or if you are playing golf before going to the Pro Shop).
- Those staying Wednesday night must pick their keys up before 11:00pm. If you don’t think you will get there before 11.00pm on the Wednesday during B.H. please call the Golf Club on 03 5744 1911 to make arrangements.
- Those that registered for shared accommodation will need to check at reception who they are sharing with and make shared arrangements for the keys.
Dress Code? Neat Casual

- 7:00 p.m. Dinner on Wednesday Night: Guests that have registered for dinner will be in the reserved area. Drinks are soft drink, tap beer & House wine. All other purchases will have to be paid for.
Thursday 7th September 2017
- Breakfast is in the Clubhouse for those guests that are on the VMBSG accommodation list.
- 9:30 a.m. Morning Tea and Registrations will be served adjacent to the “Willow Room” Conference Room.

- For those who are playing golf, you must be at the Pro Shop by 6:30am SHARP. (please ensure you vacate the rooms before going to the Pro Shop). As like last year we have the included motorised carts.

- After golf, BBQ lunch and drinks will be provided on the terrace.
- Prizes, Compliments of Russell Kennedy Lawyers, will be awarded for winning teams, longest drives and nearest the pins.
The Topic
At this year’s Conference we will do some reminiscing on the past 20 years then look at the present and the issues facing all council staff in the face of ever increasing violence towards those in authority.
We will look at the human impact of emergency events and also look at how the use of technology will assist us in our daily lives at work. We will try to clear up some of the misconceptions around role & responsibilities of the MBS and look for common ground.
For too long Alternative Solution have been hit & miss and used inappropriately, we will look into who can produces and what should be considered when accepting them.
The new Act changes and the sunset regulations will be discussed and dissected.
